General Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed on www.portia1924.com.
Portia AB, company registration number 556044-7251, VAT No. SE556044725101 is the seller and contracting party and is referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our.” The website user is referred to as “you.”
All orders are subject to product availability.
An automated order confirmation acknowledging receipt of your order does not constitute acceptance of your order. A binding agreement is formed only when your order has been accepted and dispatched by Portia.
By placing an order on Portia 1924, you agree to our Terms & Conditions. If you do not accept these terms at the time of purchase, we cannot process your order. We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically, and all changes will be posted under “Terms and Conditions.”
We reserve the right to correct typographical errors, inaccuracies, pricing errors and product information errors appearing on the website. We also reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders affected by obvious pricing errors, technical errors, inventory discrepancies, suspected fraud, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Any attempted fraud will be reported to the authorities. If we suspect fraud, we may cancel the purchase.
We accept orders only from individuals over 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you must inform your parent or guardian about our Terms & Conditions. You may proceed with a purchase only if you have their consent or a legal right to do so.
We strive to display our products and colours accurately. However, due to screen settings, photography, and natural material variations, minor differences in colour, texture, weave, and finish may occur. These are normal and do not constitute defects. We cannot guarantee that product images will exactly match the actual product.

Prices & Payment

All prices on our website include VAT for orders within the EU. You may choose to pay in Swedish crowns (SEK) or euros (EUR). Customs and VAT fees may apply in countries outside the EU.
Our payment service is hosted by Shopify Payments, a secure provider. Payment and credit card data are handled directly by Shopify Payments. When you enter your credit card information, it is transmitted securely and charged in accordance with your card provider’s policies.

You can choose to pay with Klarna Invoice, Klarna Pay now, or Klarna Pay later. We also offer payments through Shop Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, and Google Pay.
We accept the following cards:
- VISA
- MasterCard
- American Express
- Maestro
Once your order is accepted, you will receive an order confirmation at your registered email address. Please ensure your address and contact information are accurate for delivery.

Delivery

If you place your order before 12.00 CET, Monday-Thursday, it will be sent from our warehouse in Sweden the same day. Orders placed after 12.00 CET will be sent out the next working day. During hectic periods, such as sales, Christmas, the Summer Holiday season, and Swedish national days, delivery may take a few extra days. We will do our best to get your package out for delivery as soon as possible. Once your order is sent, you will receive an email confirming that it has left our warehouse.
Orders are shipped Monday to Friday via PostNord, or UPS. We offer free standard shipping with PostNord for orders over €50 within the EU, including Norway. The estimated delivery time is typically 2 to 10 business days, depending on your location.

We offer the following delivery prices:

- Sweden PostNord Varubrev: Free shipping on orders over 500 SEK. Orders under 500 SEK incur a delivery cost of 30 SEK.
- PostNord Tracking EU (including Norway, 2-10 days): Free delivery for orders over €50. Orders under €50 incur an €8 delivery charge with PostNord.
- PostNord Global (including the UK and Switzerland, 8-16 days): $14 USD.
Once your parcel reaches your country, local postal services will handle PostNord deliveries.

Delivery dates are estimates, and we are not liable for postal delays. Customs processing times are not included in the delivery estimates.
If you choose UPS shipping, the price is calculated at checkout.
Failed, refused, or unclaimed shipments returned to us will incur a fee of €20 or $25 USD to cover our handling and shipping costs.
Please report any damaged or missing goods to hello@portia.se within a reasonable time after receiving your package. Include photographs, if applicable, to assist our investigation. It’s important to report visible parcel damage to the delivery carrier upon receipt.
For shipments delivered to a mailbox, parcel box, or other delivery location designated by the customer, delivery shall be considered completed when the carrier confirms successful delivery to that location.
Once the goods have been delivered to you or a person designated by you, the risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you, except where otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.
Customs duties, import taxes, and other local charges may apply when your parcel reaches its destination country and must be paid by the recipient. As customs policies vary, please contact your local customs office for current charges. If these charges are not paid and the package is returned to us, a fee of €25-€50 (or $30-$60 USD) will apply, depending on your country of residence.

Return & Right of withdrawal

We have a 14-day withdrawal period counted from the delivery date. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order. Returned goods must be sent back no later than 14 days after you have informed us of your decision to withdraw from the purchase.

If your return is approved, we will issue a refund as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after we have received the returned goods or proof that the goods have been sent back.

For returns in Sweden, we will send you a PostNord QR code to present at your local pick-up point, where your return label will be printed. For EU and international returns, you may cover the return cost yourself or request a UPS return label, in which case the cost will be deducted from your refund. See the prices below. Please include a note with your order number and name, or attach your order confirmation with the return.

You may use your own return label, however, we do not accept returns sent to a pickup point.

You are responsible for the package until we receive your return. If damage occurs during return shipping, you are liable for any resulting loss.
All returned goods must be in their original packaging with all labels and hangtags attached to be approved. We may refuse returns, or make a deduction from the refund, for items that are dirty, used beyond what is necessary to inspect them, have odours, have been washed, or are damaged.

Promotional Offers, Gifts and Bundle Discounts

Products received free of charge as part of a promotion, gift-with-purchase offer, bundle discount, multi-buy offer, or similar campaign must also be returned if the return means that the conditions of the promotion are no longer met.
If the promotional item is not returned, or if a return causes the conditions of the promotion to no longer be fulfilled, Portia reserves the right to deduct the full retail value of the promotional item or recalculate the order based on the regular selling price of the retained products.

Example: You purchase a tie and receive a complimentary pair of socks with a retail value of €12. If the tie is returned but the socks are retained, the value of the socks (€12) will be deducted from your refund.

The same principle applies to bundle discounts, multi-buy offers (such as “Buy 3, Pay for 2”), and other promotional campaigns.

Privacy Policy


Portia’s privacy policy has been updated in accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). It explains how we collect, process, and manage your personal information.
We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR. Depending on the purpose of processing, we rely on different legal bases such as performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests, or your consent. We ensure that all information you provide is protected and secure. The data we collect serves various purposes, including fulfilling your purchase agreement and supporting our marketing activities.

When you use our services, make purchases, or sign up for newsletters or social media, some of your information will be collected and used for statistical purposes to improve our website. We process your personal data securely and do not store it longer than necessary or as required by law. After this period, your data will be deleted.

Legal Guarantee and Complaints

If you believe a product is defective, damaged, or does not match your order, please contact us at hello@portia.se as soon as possible. Include your order number and relevant photos, if applicable.
Consumers within the European Union are entitled to a legal guarantee under applicable consumer protection laws. This legal guarantee applies in addition to, and does not affect, any rights provided under these Terms & Conditions.
Where a product is found to be defective or non-conforming, you may be entitled to have the product repaired or replaced free of charge. If repair or replacement is not possible, disproportionate, or unsuccessful, you may be entitled to a price reduction or a full refund in accordance with applicable law. Store credit may also be offered as an alternative if the customer accepts it.
We reserve the right to inspect the product and assess the claim before approving any remedy. Customers may be asked to provide photographs or return the product for inspection.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights that apply under the laws of your country of residence.

Portia is not liable for failure to fulfil obligations under this agreement due to unforeseeable circumstances, such as new legislation, labour conflicts, strikes, war, threats of war, sabotage, burglary, extreme weather, explosion, blockade, fire, natural disasters, accidents, or other events beyond our control. In the event of force majeure, Portia is not required to compensate customers for resulting damages.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under the laws of your country of residence.

If you are dissatisfied with our handling of your complaint, you may contact your local consumer protection authority for guidance. Consumers within the European Union may also use available alternative dispute resolution procedures where applicable.
