General Conditions

The following Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through our website www.portia1924.com. Portia VAT-nr SE556044725101 is the seller and refers to ”we”, ”us” and ”our”. The user of the website is referred to as ”you”.

When you place an order on Portia 1924, you agree to our Terms & Conditions. If our Terms & Conditions are not accepted when placing the order, we cannot proceed with the purchase. We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions from time to time. All updates will be posted under the ”Terms and Conditions”.

We reserve the right to accept orders only from individuals over 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you must inform your parents or guardians about our Terms & Conditions. You may still purchase if you have obtained your guardian’s consent or have a legal right to enter into a purchase.

We have made every effort to display the products and colours as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that our images accurately reflect the products in their actual appearance. We continually work on improving our pictures.

We reserve the right to print errors, pricing adjustments and pricing errors on products presented at Portia1924.se

Any attempts at fraud will be reported to the police. If there’s any suspicion of fraud, we reserve the right to terminate the purchase.

Prices & Payment

All prices displayed on our website include 25 % Swedish VAT. You can choose between Swedish crowns (SEK) or EURO. Domestic customs and VAT fees may apply in countries outside of the EU.

Shopify Payments, a secure payment provider, hosts our payment service. The actual payment and credit card data are handled directly with Shopify Payments. When you enter your credit card information, the data is transmitted securely to Shopify Payments and charged according to the rules of the corresponding credit card provider. 
You can choose to pay with Klarna Invoice, Klarna Pay now, or Klarna Pay later. We also offer payments through Bancontact, iDeal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, and Google Pay.

When your order is accepted, an order confirmation will be sent automatically to your registered e-mail address. You are required to provide a correct address and contact info for the delivery of the goods.  

Delivery

If you place your order before 13.00 CET Monday-Thursday your order will be sent out the same day from our warehouse in Sweden. Orders placed after 13.00 CET will be sent out the next working day. During hectic periods, such as sales, Christmas, and the Summer Holiday season, the delivery time may take a few extra days. We will do our best to get your package out for delivery as soon as possible. Once your order is sent, you will receive an email confirming that it has left our warehouse.

Goods will be shipped Monday-Friday. We send goods via PostNord, Swedish Post, and UPS. We offer free standard shipping for orders over € 50 with PostNord within the EU, including Norway. The estimated delivery time will depend on your location, but it is usually between 2 and 10 business days.

We offer the following delivery prices:

-Sweden Post Nord Varubrev offers free shipping on orders over 500 SEK. Orders under 500 SEK have a delivery cost of 30 SEK

- Post Nord Tracking EU including Norway 2-10 days: Free Delivery for orders over 50€. Order amount less than 50€ € delivery cost is 8€ with Post Nord

- Post Nord Global, including the UK and Switzerland, 8-16 days: 10 €

 

Local postal services will handle PostNord deliveries once the parcel reaches your country.  

The above dates are estimated and we don’t cover any delays based on the post offices. Customs processing is not included in the above delivery days.

 

If you choose UPS shipping, prices are calculated at checkout.

Failed or unclaimed shipments that are sent back to us will incur a fee of 20 Euro or 25 USD to cover our costs. If you change your mind regarding your order after it’s shipped, then it needs to be claimed, or we will charge you a fee of 20 Euro or 25 USD.

Damaged or missing goods must be reported to hello@portia.se within 24 hours with a photo so we can investigate it further. A report must be submitted to the delivery company immediately upon receiving a damaged parcel. Please note that once the parcel has been delivered or received, responsibility for the goods transfers to you, the buyer.

Any customs or import duties will be applied when your parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Since customs policies and import duties vary between countries, we recommend that you contact your local customs office for current charges. If these charges are not paid and the package will be sent back to us then we will charge you for a fee between 25€-50€ (30 USD-60 USD) depending on which country you live in.

Return & Right of withdrawal

We have 14 days of withdrawal counted from the delivery date. For returns in Sweden, we will send you a PostNord QR code, which you can show at your local pick-up point, and they will print your return label for you.  For returns within the EU or outside the EU, the return cost can be covered by you (in which case no return fee will be deducted), or we can provide you with a return label, and the return cost will be deducted from your refund; see the price below. Fill in the return form with your order number or name and the code that best explains the reason for the return, and pack it together with the returning goods.

You can use you own return label but please note that we do not accept returns that are sent to a pickup point.

You, as a customer, are responsible for the package until we have received the return. So should any damages occur during the transport back to us then you as a customer are responsible for those damages.

All returning goods must be returned in their original packaging, and all label & hangtags needs to be in place for the return to be approved. We don’t accept returns that are dirty, used, smelly, washed, or torn apart.  

When and if the return is approved, we will refund you as soon as possible, but within 30 days of receiving your return package.

If you have a claim, please contact us at hello@portia.se and send us the relevant pictures. If we approve your claim, then we will try to repair the product for you. If it’s not possible, then we will send you a new one. If the item/s is sold out, then you will receive a refund for the goods

Privacy Policy

Portia’s privacy policy has been updated and clarified in accordance with the new Terms and Conditions of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). This explains the collection, processing and changes regarding your personal information.

When visiting portia1924.com we will collect information about you once you have given your approval. We ensure you that all information you provide us with when using our services are protected and secure. The information that we collect serves different purposes and helps provide you with the highest level of service. Your personal data will be used by us to fulfil our part of the purchasing agreement and for marketing purposes by the company.

When you use or purchase any of our services, sign up for newsletters, social media some of your information will be registered and used for statistics to improve the website for visitors and customers. We will process your personal data in a secure way, and your personal data will not be stored longer than necessary or during any period of time which is prescribed by law. After that your data will be deleted.

Cookies are small text files that are saved on the visitors' computers to keep track of the visitors’ navigation on the website and to offer a better service for you as a customer. Cookies are used by many websites, and by accepting cookies, you also get access to certain functions.

There are two types of cookies:” Session cookies” and ”Persistent cookies”

Force Majeure

Portia is exempt from any consequences for failing to fulfil certain obligations under this agreement. If the failure is based on unforeseeable circumstances, such as new legislation, labour conflict, strikes, war or threats of war, sabotage, burglary, extreme weather conditions, explosion, blockade, fire, natural disasters, accidents or other circumstances beyond our control. In the event of Force Majeure, Portia shall not be liable to compensate customers for any damages to the customer on account of this.
